    My name is Maria Alejandra Im from a small town called Armenia located in the beautiful country of Colombia. My town is popular because we produce coffee. For that reason, I'm a coffee lover !!! I love fashion, latin music and sports. Thus, I chose this class because my major is in communications  and I will focus on broadcasting and media. And I think this class will help me to develop my ideas in the media environment.

   Because Im really far from my family and friends, I really like socialnetworks. I start using my space when I was in high school then, Facebook came into my world. I used it for couple of years but I closed it when Instagran came out. Also, I love Spyke because is pretty easy to keep the communication with people who I can't see because of the distance. Im a youtube lover, I can spend hour watching videos of any kind.

   But, the social netwok that I like the most is Instagram. Because Im fascinated with photographs. What I really like of Instagram is that you find  photographs of people, nature, countries, and thousand and thousand of different things that you don't really even think they exist. I like to spend my free time taking pictures, so every time I have the opportunity I grap my camera and I go around the city capturing moments, people and things and publish them on Instagram.
